Armani

Born in Piacenza, Italy in 1934, Giorgio Armani is one of the most celebrated and influential designers Italy has ever produced. |
By 1964, armed with an in-depth knowledge of fabric and design, he was taken on as a designer for Nino Cerruti's men's clothing company, Hitman.
In 1974, Armani launched his own menswear label and womenswear came a year later.
Since 1975, other Armani labels have been created including the Junior line, Underwear, Swimwear, Accessories and Occhiali.
Armani claims to be base his vision on the everyday people on the street.

In 1984, Karan was given her own firm by Takihyo Corporation of Japan, Anne Klein's parent company.

Moschino

Born in Milan, Italy, fashion designer Franco Moschino (1950-1994) is the vision behind the Moschino line. |
This company reflected his interest in pop culture.
Being a whimsical and charasmatic designer, he rebelled at times against the fashion industry and this led to legal disputes with Louis Vuitton and Chanel.
Since his early death in 1994, Moschino's company has been under the direction of Rosella Jardini.
Sector group S.p.A took over the management of Moschino's company as part of its brand diversification process.
